Great sounding, nice design

Not much bass

I've listened to larger speakers at higher prices, and they don't even begin to compare with these. The sound is very crisp and clear, even at high volumes. My only complaint, which is very minor one, is that the bass isn't great. But, that's to be expected given their small size. For only $50 for the pair, there is no way you can go wrong with these speakers, whether you're using them as mains or surrounds.

Yes I''m poor. I can''t afford much more than fifty for my surround speakers. These are great though. Using the SSMF600H as my front speakers. 200watt Yamaha for sub, and Sony 500watt Receiver. No center channel yet. It sounds great all together. I put these in place of my front speakers just to experiment. They sound good, not much bass of course. Supplemented them with my sub and it sounded much better than expected. Not good enough to replace my towers with them. Great speakers to have for small rooms, surround speakers, or to supplement with a sub. Hands down the best speaker available at such a price. Better than many speakers at higher prices.

Great sounding speakers for $50 a pair! Decent base for it''s size and very nice highs.

They should of used a 6 1/2 inch woofer than a 5 1/4 in that speaker cabinet size.

I use these speakers for rear surrounds and sony SS500H towers for my main fronts,they sound absoulutly great,nice rich and full sound beats mini satelite surrounds anyday.

I don't have these yet but thought that they can be good surrounds for my Home Theater. Possibly yours to!

Great Mid and High Ranges for the price

Not to strong with bass, which is to be expected

I got this speakers because i wanted a nice sounding speaker to go for my computer . . . which i run through a 400 watt sony reciever. I got these and use them with a subwoofer . . . the sound perfect for my dorm room, i am sure the jbl's i was looking at would sound better, but also it would've been an extra 100 bucks . . . for 50 dollars these things are a steal.
