Awesome! Had a set of Bose Acoustimass, never realized we were missing so much until we set these up. Great Sound! Check out Video Only stores in Bay Area about half the price on the Web. |

Strength:
Ease of huge dynamic transients, low end is everywhere you want to be
Weakness:
For the price THERE ARE NO WEAKNESSES! Okay, you out there without the megabucks take heart. Similar Products Used: Klipsch Horns, La Scalas, Dahlquist(re-speakered DQ-10'S) Monitor Audio, others (sigh) |

Could be the best value in speakers. Paid $660 for the light birch RTS P100.Huge soundstage, clear highs, built in subs with 100 watt amps. Fit and finish is a little weak but the sound is terrific. Auditioned Def Tech pro 400, Infiniti ovr 1 & 2, Klipsch 10.5 & KSP 300, paradign monitor 7 & 9. Each speaker had their pluses and minuses, but the p100s had the most to offer at the best price plus no need for an external sub!!. There are better speakers, (go spend $1500+) but not at this price and features. Check out home theater magazine Jan 99 for review. A true bargin. |

Paid $600 for a pair of these from Video Only. They replace some B&W towers that I got for $800 ONLY because they were floor demos. The SoundDynamics are CLEARLY superior: smoother highs and lows, a LOT more bottom end (with 2 100-watt subwoofers that would be expected) better imaging and detail. I'm astonished at the amount of musical detail at low volume. As has been mentioned, these speakers will never be confused with fine furniture, but they are tasteful and unassuming. They were the best speakers I heard at under $1,000 a pair. At $600 a pair, I don't think there is a better value. |

Strength:
Incredible detail, Punchy bass, Value
Weakness:
None so far Just got these speakers a couple of days ago and I cannot say enough good things about them. The speakers looked even better than I had expected and the fit and finish was great. I thought I would mention that since a lot of people were complaining about the build quality. I got them in black since the light birch was no longer available. Once set up I was totally blown away from their sound. I put some Tracy Chapman in and the extreme detail of her voice and music gave me goosebumps. I have been burning them in for 2 days now and they sound better everytime I listen to them. No need for an external subwoofer when listening to music, the basss is extremley fast and tight and you have to keep the gain down quite low so as to not rattle items on your wall. I can't say for sure how all the other speakers above would have sounded in my room, but I can't imagine there is a speaker that sounds any better than these at this price range. Read reviews and articles and try to find a negative on their sound. Similar Products Used: Paradigm, Jamo, Polk, Phase Tech, Monitor Audio, Mission, and a few others |

I have been a big fan of Sound Dynamics for some time. I previously owned a pair of Vandersteens 3A, but I had to sell them when I moved into a smaller place. I heard so much about the 300ti that I decided to purchase a pair. I was driving the 300ti with a pair of Cary 70watt tube monoblocs. Combined with a B&W sub, I really loved this combination and felt like I didn't loose much from my Vandersteens. However, my Cary tube amps were not able to drive the 300ti as loud as I sometimes like to listen. Therefore, when I heard Sound Dynamics were putting out tower speakers with a 100 watt powered subwoofer and a sesitivity rating of 93, I jumped all over these--and I have not been dissapointed. |
