I bought these speakers on a sale and have been happy with them since then. I think they just reproduce the music as it has to be. Some tweaking consisted in putting a Deflex panel at the back inside to increase slamm. My speaker cable Goertz Mi 3 divinity hooked on a Counterpoint NPS 200 gives me deep satisfaction every day. The only alternative for me are horn speakers, I own Klipsch La Scala speakers in a bigger room with Quad II monos. but I am unable to decide which system I like best.

I am curious and i wanted to try the legend.
SP100 are not cheap, not pretty, not demonstrative,not hihg end, not the most beautiful girl in the word, but the wife you love.
They can offer you whatever you want if you dare to understand what they need.
It was really good with cyrus pre+power+power+disc+dac+psx(s) and i got enough crazy to purchase used mark levinson 333+39 (something kind, respectuous and powerful).
And now, day after day I thank spendor engeneers and spend hours (!) to listen cds even if my room is not perfect.
