So open, the sound is like your hear every instrument so tight, together, precise. The vocals deliver through a dual concentric driver that you have to hear to appreciate. Sounds not coming from the speaker , more like delivering through the air. For the money it’s a treat. Best money I’ve spent. It’s heard through a Blackhawk “Raven” amp. Oracle Delphi table and Hanna MC cartridge

I have just recieved this pair of tannoy to audit the sound a couple days ago. It sounds amazing. I can say that it is better than my Response 4 in some aspect. Puchy bass with natural like sound... amazing...

price, needs a long time to 'burn in'

I bought these spaekers after I listened to them for about one week. They need very good placement. After about 3 months the fun begins! because they really need to play for about 3 months before they really kick ass! I play them whith a Rotel Michi pre-power, but a tube amp also works great whith them. My listening room is only 12m2, but the bass isn't desturbing.I play jazz,pop,lounge and even sometimes house etc. But it all goes very well.

I really like it! I have been audiopile for more than 25 years. and I've been used self made systems for long time. From my point of view, Turnberry is nice to choose from TANNOY lines. Due to Dual-Concentric ubit, the sound accuracy is nearly perfect. If you love classical music and analogue sound, this would be your choice.
