Triangle Genese Lyrr (2022) Fantastic sounding speakers , fun, forward, detailed, beautiful. Take a very long time to run in as the drivers are tight. Now made in china, so build quality is great, but not perfect. Give them at least 200 hours before critical listening. Light bass considering the amount of drivers, but can be enjoyed at low levels. Horn loaded tweeter is very good. Paint finish is very nice.

Take a very long time to run in. sensitive to position.

The bests i have ever heard (serial lyrr 222) at a really low price compared to much expensive ones. BEAUTIFULL and a natural "sound image" thanks to the new tweeter TZ202. A french Audiophile

I bought the Lyrr for my system with the NAD S500 CD-Player and the Thule IA-60 amplifier. The sound now is great. Sometimes the tweeters sounds a little bit to artificial.
The middle and the bass couldn't be better in this price class!

I've heard the Lyrr at a friend's on his Audiolab 8000SX amp, a custom passive preamp and his Technics CD player. These speakers are tall(1m20, 5 drivers) but slim and very aesthetic.They demonstrate a very natural medium (voices are especially delightful), powerful bass (bi-wired) and a great treble.

This is a very nice speaker (musicaly speaking), but in its price category (especially in the US.gosh $3700... in France, they are sold around $2000), one has the right to be a bit picky.
The Lyrr is a fairly big speaker and will need a large room to breath.
TRIANGLE is taking a lot of care in the reproduction in the medium. And, in the Lyrr, they have done quite a good job.

Indeed, the medium delivered by this speaker is really fast, detailed, full of live.
The particularity of the Lyrr, as compared to the other TRIANGLE speakers, is that the great qualities of the medium is extended to the lower highs and to the bass.
The music comimg from the speaker is really engaging and the toe tapping factor is definitively here.
Especially when you compare the Lyrr to the Evolution3 or the JMLab 915 which do a good job but do not have this 'champagne' way of playing music.
What is a bit sad is that TRIANGLE seems to always have a problem with the extremities of the bandwith.
In fact, for the bass, I might be a little picky: The bass is indeed good, not as good as the medium but average as compared to the other speakers in this price range.
The drawback of the Lyrr is the highs which have something wrong: they are going high but are awkward, monochromus.

Anyway these speakers are good and despite there weakness in the highs, there are realy well ranked in my preferred list (in this price category):
1- PELeon Enzo s2 (in every aspects, clearly head and shoulders above the others)
2- Confluence Cantilene (a speaker more for music lover than audiophile. do need a punchy amp. to express its qualities)
2- Triangle Lyrr
3- JMR Evolution3 (precise, acurate, but the toe tapping is not there...)
4- JMLab 915 (in a direct A/B comparaison with the Lyrr, they did sound so plain...)

Heard the Lyrr hooked up with a YBA CD Integre and Integre 2 pre/power combo. My god, the speakers weren't even broken in yet and they sounded so sweet. The strengths lies in the wide soundstage with the mid range and bass sounding especially radiant and expressive. The bass attack was sharp, clearly defined with no resounding echoes which plague some speakers of this size (they are big). The tweeters did sound a little unnatural with high frequencies cutting out unnaturally but I was told this would be remedied by breaking the speakers in... I highly recommend them if you have the money to splurge and a room big enough to handle them.
