Strength:
Great balance from low to high frequency. Driven by an Accuphase 270 amp they prove very musical and produce beautiful acoustic sounds (guitare, piano, percussions) and of course voice. Value for money on the second hand market will be great Weakness:
If coupled with a two weak amplifier they will be agressive to the ear. Audio Analogue is a very good fit. Price Paid: 1800
Purchased: New

Strength:
Balance sound
Weakness:
None One of the best speaker in $4,000 to $5,000. Sound quality is first rate. My initial impressed was how straigth forward and evenly distibute the sound from top to bottom at any level these speaker capable of . It made me remember some good Vandy's speaker that I have heard not so long a go but this triangle is much better in balancing the sound while Vandy's speaker is exel in the bass. I'm a Jazz and Classical music lover so I like it that way. Sound stage is good but I think it was not big enough for my taste.I could hear a little corehen but not as much as my old Thiel 3.6s. It is kind of you know something appear right infront of you and you can really wrap and hold it in your hand no matter what you tried. But this feeling was soon disapear after a couple week of listening. Soundstage is improving dramatically for a last few weeks. The bass is tight and well defind. It can go down reasonable low, I guess around 35hz-40hz, anything lower than that is listenable but less defind. Treble is extreamly good. It is a cristal clear sound and I feel that they are more defind and reach higher than the Theil 3.6s or the Vandies 3 signature. I like the way the tweeter sound. It goes straight to you without any harsh or edgeness, even at high volum. And best of all, you gona fall in love for their midrange, It is like you are in vocal haven. Male and female vocal are super, very warm and seductive, The only speaker that I've heard and give me the same feeling is B&W 801D which is much more expensive than this pair. I do have tube (CJ) and solid sate (Krell) component on hand so I tried to swap them between several listening to see if there is any differennce. Just as I though, there was a little more intimacy, sweetness and romantic through tube. But at the end, solid state is my choice. Through Krell, They nearly perform as well as tube in term of musicality but the Krell give them more dymamic and slam that think they need it. If you are in the market between $4,000-$5,000. You must give these speaker a try. You gona love them. A lot of bang for the bucks. Similar Products Used: Krell DRC-3 preamp
