I'm a Danley fan. I went out of my way to briefly hear his legendary SH-50. But at $4000+ each, they are above my budget. So I'll settle for his older tech. One of the few non-kit "Unity" speakers still sold, the U15 has had good reviews among the DIY high fi community. Yes, it is sold as a PA speaker, but it can be used in the home. If appearance isn't a concern . I took a chance on a "parts or repair" pair for about $700. The cabs and drivers turned out ok, and I gutted the insides and wired them for active EQ. They have performed flawlessly for about a year. I get excellent imaging. I don't push these as hard as I could. If there is one "defect" for home use, it is that you probably need a sub for these.

Amazing PA speakers. Have vocal clarity like almost no other due to unique Tom Danley designed unity horn.
