Strength:

clear sound, strong bass, excellent value

Weakness:

none

Also bought these speakers blind based on the reviews... I got the 6.1 w/ 12" Sub, and its pretty impressive, you can literally move the floor with them if you want. I got the speakers in no time at all, customer service was very quick to respond, and very helpful. I noticed that one of the satellite speakers rattled a bit during the DTS test, and wrote Ben Fowler an email. He had a new speaker shipped to me in about 2 days, and covered the shipping of the broken speaker back to them. All in all and excellent package for the price. My total system is: 6.1-12 Surround Onkyo 797 Panasonic RP91 Panasonic Tau 32" HDTV

Strength:

build quality/finish incredible sound for the money customer support, especially when purchased with an Onkyo package through Aperion.

Weakness:

Notta.

Previous reviews have pretty much said it all, but I'll repeat what's important: unbelievable build quality, size that won't eat your house, a price that won't eat your wallet, and incredibly good sound integration (I have the 12" sub. Finally and most importantly, Aperion audio delivers customer support you won't find ANYWHERE ELSE. (Spelled B-E-N F-O-W-L-E-R).

Strength:

Crisp and Clear sound from 5.1 speakers and 12" sub. Beautiful wood finish.

Weakness:

One Problem: You will need to turn the volume down on the sub to eliminate phone calls from angry neighbors.

I did not even know about these speakers until I spoke with some of my co-workers. I was trying to get knowledgeable on speakers, and these co-workers were audio philes. Everyone before had told me to go with Infinity or JVC speakers, but these co-workers told me differently. I wanted to hear these speakers, but there weren''''t any stores that had them. I went to my co-workers house, and I was blown away at the sound of these speakers. My co-worker had the 5.1-8 system. Unbelievable Sound!! My non-technical, no-electronics, non-home-theather-system wife loved them too. She loved the way they looked. After my wife''''s approval, I rushed to www.aperionaudio.com and purchased the 5.1-12 system. I wanted a bigger sub than my co-worker. They arrived shortly after I placed my order, and we were shocked. They packed the speakers in a velvet bag. The sub-woofer was monstrous. I couldn''''t wait to plug it in to my new HK AVR-510 receiver. After hooking all the speakers up and positioning them correctly, it was time to test the system. Star-Wars Phantom Menace sounded incredible. The entire house shook. The 12" sub has so much power. Gladiator was amazing in DTS with these speakers. I realized after viewing these DVDs that I did not go wrong purchasing these speakers. My neighbors are envious of me now. I demonstrated the speakers to a Circuit City sales associate and he could not believe the sound. He was an Infinity bigot, but know he has changed his mind because of the price difference from Infinity speakers to Aperion Audio speakers Overall: These are perfect speakers for people wanting a mid-range home theater system. The cost of $1299 isn''''t that bad compared to the quality of the speakers. System: Receiver: Harman Kardon AVR-510 DVD: Sony - DVP-NC600/B

Strength:

Crisp clear highs. Imaging is phenominal.

Weakness:

None to speak of...

Receiver: Denon AVR 4802
DVD/CD: Denon DVM 4800 progressive scan

I cannot believe how good this system is! Not just because they sound so good but because they sound like $4,000.00! I don't care that read "Made in China" on the back of each speaker. I sold my B&W's, bought this system and put some cash toward a new receiver. If these were made in England you'd pay triple!
