Strength:
Crisp, clear sound, size. I've had my JBL setup for about 4 months in combination with a Pioneer VXD-608 Digital receiver and Panasonic A120 DVD player. After doing a lot of research and looking at my budget I ended up with these components. The speakers are clear. The sound is crisp. Whether audio or DVD movie, there is no noticable feedback or distortion. For the price these can't be beat and I would certainly recommend them to anyone considering a home theater system. If you want to spend thousands of dollars I'm sure you can get an incredible setup, but you have to draw the line at what audio human ear can differenciate between. Basically, this setup will give you clean, crisp, powerful sound that is plenty for any avid audio listener or home theater seeker. |

Strength:
Great sound, comes with wall mounting brackets, powered sub. Great deal for money
Weakness:
needs more output power These are great speakers. Picked them up free at best buy using the 400 dollar msn rebate. I must say that these sound great. Only wish the center was bigger. Great 5.1 sound even for DTS. Using them with a Kenwood 3080 receiver. |

Strength:
size, ease of setup and use, complete all in one package For the $$ you cannot beat it. I wanted the Bose, but it was not in the budget. A fantastic alternative for half the price. Great all around sound!! I'm using it with a Kenwood vr309 and their 200 cd changer. Excellent sound in 5.1 and my DD DSS unit. |

I would recommend these speakers to anyone, I love them...They are small in size however the sound is awesome. I currently am running these through the Pioneer VSX D457 Receiver complimented with the Pioneer PD F07 101 stacker CD player, the final addition to complete my home theatre will be the Nakamichi DVD-10 player. This will be an excellent package. I hope to have this all set up within this week to test this combination. |

I'm looking to buy my first DD setup...I've decided on the Pioneer VSX-608D Receiver, and am considering the JBL SCS125 speaker kit to go with it? A good idea? I'm new to this so bear with me. The speakers are rated at 50-watts peak, but the receiver's rated at 100 per channel...a problem? Also, how are these speakers in general? Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

The JBL SCS125 Speakers are great! They are compact enough for my apartment yetproduce a lot of sound! The sub is self powered so it puts out a lot of bass. |

Picked these up at circuit city in a package with the Kenwood vr-309 receiver (a good unit). The highs are beautiful. The lows shake everything in my house and the mids are pleasing. For the price, this set cannot be beaten. With five video shielded satellites (50 watts each) and a powered sub (75 watts), you have a complete didital speaker system for less than 450$! It is a great deal for someone on a budget who needs all new speakers and sub. I would buy it ten times over. |

Hooked these up to my Harman/Kardon AVR35 and I must say DVD movies sound great. The compact staellites are clear and crisp and the sub-woofer shakes my room during those patented Hollywood explosions. Great set of speakers for someone getting thier first Home Theater system together. |

Bought a set as an "open box" from a local audio shop. Love the quality, bright highs, booming lows (all for $300). Still getting used to the new setup, so I need to tweak it a bit. Having a hard time balancing the sound (LOUD EXPLOSIONS...really quiet dialogue). Probably user error. That's the only thing holding back a 5 star rating. |

Awesome set of speakers for the money - just got them to hook up to my Harmon 35 receiver. Picked them up from Circuit City for $349 (price match with Wards). Well worth the money and then some for the beginning Home Theater. |
