SOUND,quality, price, looks!!

none- for an in wall

l was so impressed with the sound of these in wall speakers l felt compelled to rave about them and post this review!! For in wall speakers these sound amazing, l think l'm going to sell my large and obtrusive tower/bookshelf speakers and use these in my home theatre for mains,centre and surrounds. l am currently using these as surrounds but hooked them up to test with 2 channel music and was quite impressed. Check ebay as they are sometimes up for sale and you might luck out and find a pair like l did (and save big $$$), great job paradigm, these are way better than anything else out there for this price!!

In comparing these paradigm AMS300's to other offerings from the other dealers l found these superior in sound to even in much higher priced inwall units. Detailed highs and robust bass was excellent, as was ease of the installation process. These inwalls show great build quality, aren't hard to look at and can be painted to match your wall colour quite easily as they come with paint templates etc. They absolute best buy for a great integrated in wall systems.

Used in a 5.1 DD sorround setup. Can play quite loudly before getting muddy. Although this unit is efficient it will ablely suck up the wattage. Amazing imaging for an inwall unit. Mid highs a little masked, although it does a very good job overall. Have lows rolled off at 80 hz (THX standard) to sub but unit is impressive down to that frequency. Compared against b&w's at twice the price and actually preferred paradigm's sound. Highly recommend.

These are wonderfull speakers for the price. I got mine for just under $390. For an inwall they have great bass and a very full sound. The Frame is cast and very heavy. Installation was simple with the included templates. I replaced Madisound 6 1/2" inwalls with the Paradigms. The Paradigms are far better sounding, looking, and worth the money.

Excellent detail. Great sounding speaker.

Cannot use spades or banana plugs. Speaker accepts bare wire or pin connectors.

They are easy to install. I found running the cable was the most time consuming when it came to installing the pair. Total time to install the pair, including cable run was 2 hours.

I am using them as my rear surrounds to complete my surround experience. I was impressed with the detail, and and rich bass for an in-wall speaker. And they don't take up any room - a big bonus. A very clean job - you can't tell they're there. NICE.

I was worried about wall vibration. I hooked them up as front channels to check wall vibration. To my surprise, it was to a minimal. I was very impressed.

l really liked how easy these were to install, at first l was a little intimidated about cutting holes in my living room walls, but soon found out it was quite easy thanks to the really cool install template, instructions and overall design of these inwalls. They even come with a paint mask for painting to match the wall colour. I went with the dealers advice and used the pre-installation bracket kit which is a little pricey($45) but worth it. It made installing a snap and really firms up the wall surface nicely. These are with out a doubt the best value even at twice this price, they sound amazing , l have used them as a complete surround sound package paired with a paradigm cc370 center channel and have achieved superb results. Well worth the effort, in my opinion worth their weight in gold!! Great product Paradigm,Thanks!!

no banana plug connectors- but not a big deal

I originally heard these at a friends house and was so impressed l decided to use them for my entire surround sound room!! l ended up purchasing 3 pair(5 speakers for surround sound room , extra one in bedroom) The last pair l purchased were on ebay and l got a great deal at $375US they retail for $449+ tax. At this price there is NOTHING that compares, their sound, good looks, quality of construction and ease of instalation is unmatched. Pick up a pair you'll be as happy as l am and so will your wife( its like they aren't even there!!) HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!

Awesome in walls, l compared them to many others before l went with the paradigms. Can't be beat for sound quality/value at this price and they look really nice as well!! Highly recomended
