Strength:
Easy install, or at least they designed these as best as you could imagine.
Weakness:
none that i know of I installed these in a 5.1 system and built custom MDF boxes into the wall and then redid drywall. They sound very good. I'm still a little confused as to the frequency response that results when using either of the toggle buttons on these speakers, but it is a nice feature since I have a lot of bare reflective walls. So I have the bass button depressed to reduce bass I guess. Installation without boxes would be a cinch for sure. Very happy with these, look seamless with room. Speaker covers are pretty heavy, but don't seem to affect sound so I keep them on. I would love to have some real info on what those trebble/base buttons do! |
