Strength:
Deep,low bass response,powerful bass and quick recovery.
Weakness:
Cheep crossover knob,quality issue since mine arrived with one of the tubes for the ports dislodged First let me say that this sub is great. The first thing i noticed is the low and powerful extension that it can produce. Compared with my CT-150,the 18hz that this sub reaches is quite noticable(compared to the 23hz of the VEL). During explosions in u571,the vel has much mid bass attack which at times sounds boomy,but the Ars15 was so deep and powerful i felt it at the "low end" of the bass spectrum which i like better. At the $524 that i paid for this sub,its a steal! Even though mine was shipped with one of the "tubes" loose....a little glue took care of it. 5 STARS! W O W bass,excellent extension to 18hz,nice and different looking,LOUD!
Weakness:
None worth talking about at this "bang for the buck" price! This sub rocks the house with clarity.. and power to spare! Easy to set up and place,good with music...GREAT with HT. There are alot of subs out with 500 watts and better..I would really like to know the peak power on this sucker! Run out and get one and fasten your seat belt!
