Love this piece of equipment. Very versatile with connecting to system. Powerful 100-W amp delivers awesome feel to movies. Highly Recommend.

3/4 particle board boxes. I was in a car accident on the expressway smashed all stereo equipment on way home from college. all bose speakers completly exploded. My rockford car system (not coverd by insurance) exploded. I mean exploded just fragments of wood were left. MY punch amp made of cast aluminum was crushed. only thing that made it out in one pice is the cerwin vega subs i had 2 of em.

fly very far through the air hitting another car at 60mph. Not waterproof. the rain wrecked mine eventually. THer kinda big but they require alot of airspace.

Good tough speaker. I had the HT 10D passive subs which i powered with another reciever from the sup pre out on my big reciever. Never had a problem with them.

did i mention they still work as good as they used to. the boxes are all gouged up and wood is swelled in places but they are like new on sound quality :).
