Strength:

Strong clean bass

Weakness:

Large at 51" tall, however it does have a small footprint

Consider this an official recant of my afore mentioned review. After spending more time with Dr. Hsu, he recommend the following..change the 3 resistors in the sub amp access area, turn off the Subwoofers from the preamp, run the main speaks as Large, run the main outs to the sub amp first, then run from sub amp outs to the main speaker amp. This did away with any boomy sound and bass overlap from the NHT 2.9 (which go to 26Hz). Basically it made my 4 way NHT setup into a 5 way using the two 1220 subs. The sound is excellent...better than any sub I've listen to. Well folks I am sorry about the low point posting from my last review. Thats my fault, I should have spent more time with Dr. Hsu before making my posting!
