I just got this subwoofer a few days ago and I am very satisfied with amount of bass it puts out. As my room is small, I didnt need a huge 10-18 inch subwoofer with a thousand watts. I got a great deal on this subwoofer, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to fill in that low end void on a budget. Shop around the web and be sure to look at onecall.com, jandr.com or soundcity.com for a good deal. |

I've had this subwoofer with Infinity 2002's for a year. While there are clearly better subs out there I'm very satisfied. |

This sub is great for small area like in the bedroom or a small hall way, but some times it also works great in the large room, this is the best sub at that price tag. The new model number for this sub is going to be BU-80 and BU-10 is also a new product both of them are great for Home Theater, Playing Musics and easy listening. |

Found an open box special for $180 at circuit city and bought it. I am very pleased, although I haven't heard many other subs on the market. I have a small/meduim sized room and it certainly has enough power for what I use it for, which is mostly movies. The music I listen to doesn't require too much bass. All in all, a sub is a worthy investment and this seems to be a good starter. 4 stars based on price/performance |

You people have to take in to account the price you're paying for this stuff.Spent one day comparing the BU-1 to the Energy EXL-S8 sub with my Take 5 system. |

I tried out the BU1. The base was OK, but not outstanding. I tried it out with several receivers. I got a muffled or thumping response with some of the recievers. I took the advice from an expert and went for the more powerfull, larger diameter unit; I returned the BU1 for BU2. I'm much happier with the BU2. You can purchase the BU2 online at sites like netmarket for about what you'd pay for a BU1 in a store. I have 3-way front speakers so the BU2 adjustments let me balance the base much better between front speakers and the BU2 base module. |

Great Bass for the price I have the BU2 but also tried the BU1. For most users with small setups, the BU1 works fine. I ended purchasing the BU2 because I expected to move and have my system in a larger room. I moved and am glad I bought the BU2. Either subwoofer is great for the price (under $200). |
