Strength:

looks good, build quality

Weakness:

Doesn't handle much volume. Doesn't come close to filling 13x20 room

I was not at all impressed this this unit, in fact I was outright disappointed. I've owned the Mirage OM-6 for about a year and I had great expectations for this sub. I currently own a Klipsch SW10 (100 watt 10" woofer w/12 passive). I wanted to add another sub, but since Klipsch doesn't make front firing subs any more I went for this speaker. First, the out of the Klipsch BLEW AWAY THE MIRAGE. Second, I listened to a bit of Dave Mathews and Chapter 15 of the Matrix. The Mirage pop all the way through Dave Mathews and popped every time Morphius through Neo to the ground. EVEN as moderate volumes. I ended up getting the Klipsch ksw12 even though it was down firing, at least it could handle base...which is what it is supposed to do. The ksw12 still does not match the volume of the older klipsch but it's close...
