Strength:
Decent sound - I have one together with a pair of Kudos C10 standmount speakers ($4000 )in a 2 channel tube amp setup and sound nice in a relatively small room. I think it would be inadequate in a large space - especially for heavy bass reggae and R&B. . High level speaker inputs, and line level RCA inputs, high pass filter, volume, phase controls, auto on... For the price, they have quite handily filled that gap below 80 hz. I wanted a $1500 REL but then I wouldn't have my Kudos and that is more important for me. Weakness:
Perhaps not a top end performer, but great value and good performance for my needs. Price Paid: 200

Strength:
Small but very efficient, high quality materials and designed, very complete controls, high power 120 watts rms, you could plug two different types of ac/dc cables that monitor audio provides, five way binding posts, auto on/off system and Escellent quality sound. I higly recomend it.
Weakness:
No magnetically shellded, no lfe input. But those aren't really weaknesses. Yesterday i Purchased the ASW-100 to replace a Polk PSW-202. Now I have an excellent subwoofer which provides powerfull and very deep bass. I use it whit a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze B-2 for stereo, and it's a good choice for a bedroom. One thing i noticed with this sub is that is easy to set up and is very well integrated with the speakers, and doesn't modifyed the highs of the speakers. The amplifier is a high quality one and all the system is well made and designed. It's better than polk's, paradigm, jbl, etc. I set it up the volume knob at 10'clock, the high pass alt 100 hz, phase 0 degrees, selector for audio. Very eficient at low and very high volumes, strong deep and thonderous bass in small size. Similar Products Used: No similar products. |
