I searched for a sub a long time, ran across most of them in the $600 or less category. I would have to say this is one of the best I've heard, along withthe Paradigm PS1000. It has rich deep powerful bass and quite musical.
Rarely bottoms out or gets boomy. Since I picked mine up for $300 used, and I get 200watts teh speed of a 10" front firing woofer, I give it 5 stars, if I paid $600 new I would give it 4 stars becasue the Paradigm is $450 from any dealer.

Very very bad sub, the sound is more or less but the driver is very poor quality, very bad, I had to change it three times and allways the same trouble, the suspension got loose
because they use the cheapest glue that I have ever seen on a driver.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY IN POLK AUDIO!!!
