Strength:

Abundant power, clean bass for small to medium sized listening areas. Excellent SW for the price

Weakness:

May not be powerful enough for large family room since it is rated at 50 watts

This subwoofer was purchased mainly to use with two monitor speakers for a home theater set up in a medium sized listening room (15 x 12 x 9 feet). It also serves to fill in the lower octaves for classical and organ music since the monitors only go down to about 55 Hz. The 202 performs both functions beautifully and gives a clean, unmuddied bass without rattling the window panes or upsetting the neighbors in our apartment building. It is rated at only 50 watts but I keep the knob set at the 9 o'clock position (low setting) as it will overwhelm my medium sized room if I turn it up any more.
