Strength:

I recently purchased the REL Quake subwoofer, and Midland Drywall Contractors really like it. I had been looking for a subwoofer that could handle the low frequencies of my home theater system, and the REL Quake does the job perfectly.

Weakness:

Nothing at all.

Strength:

I had faith that the components were high quality and so I was willing to try everything I could. I use high quality Supra CAT8 network cables for my Synology NAS and media player and I even isolated the network using fiber optic transformers (cheap and good investment). suspension repair

Feature freaks refrain: no balance, tone controls, headphone output, etc. Money is spent on quality i/o gizmos. One thing that called my attention was the presence of Listen and Record selector which I did not understand at first. Marlborough Towing Company

Strength:

The strength of Quake is evident: it is a very compact case with a very, very quiet (doesn't bother the neighbors) sound. | https://www.mcallendrywall.com

Strength:

Extensivly researched and listened to many speakers in this class and these stand out far above the rest, including many higher priced floor speakers. I was particularly impressed with the bright, detailed sound. No subwoofer needed with music or theater use. Fort Lauderdale On site truck repair

Strength:

Blends in prefectly with my setup, Mission cyrus II, PSX, mission 780 SE, DC player Marantz 63 KI Signature.

Weakness:

You have to be an exerienced audiophile to fine-tune it. If not, you could make it sound to loud and/or boomy.

REL QUAKE II, in my opinion it's simply the best brand for hifi setups. At this price (euro) I dont think to find something els in my neighbourhood with this audiophile quality. Simply love it!!! My music collection sounds totaly new!

Strength:

Size, finish (cherry is great), accuracy, depth

Weakness:

Can't shake the floor quite like my father-in-laws REL Q400 (but that is 3 times the price and 3 times the size!)

Wow...this was my first sub and WHAT a sub!! I've heard many since from M&K, B&W, Monitor Audio etc and there is nothing that can stay with the Quake Pound for pound or inch for inch. How they get such tight accurate and lets face it, DEEP, bass from such a small box is something of a miracle. Stereo music benefits from increase snap and soundstaging, double bass on jazz CDs is sooo realistic, and bass beats on dance music hit you in the chest! On DVD tracks the LFE feed is first class giving wonderful effects and integrating with the rest of the system. It's takes a while to get the set up right and for the sub to break-in (I ended up with high-level connection with the LFE feed disabled at the amp for stereo) and LFE feed for DVD) but it's worth it. Slam mode for films and depth for CDs. I recently moved house into a barn conversion and a seriously big room (18m * 6m * 6m) and the REL still does the business - amazing!!
