Strength:
Nice tight base... Low Frequency Response! Excellent sound for the price paid! Great deal nice looks!
Weakness:
Just a bit too big... But then again, it does have a 12" cone! This subwoofer is great for the price paid! It's amazingly inexpensive and the sound is very good. It goes all the way down to 22Hz. and you get a very nice tight bass. I'm very happy... Similar Products Used: JBL; SONY; YAMAHA |

Strength:
Relatively small. Variable crossover. 150W Amp. Acoustic suspension, not bass ported. Excellent for music and accuracy.
Weakness:
Not good for home theater. Attractive outer cabinet, not particularly exceptional quality. Bass is tight and capable. This sub forte is not home theater in that it doesn't handle, say, explosions as a ht needs to. It doesn't grab your innards and shake them. What this sub does though is extend the lower end of a pair of full size/range speakers for musical listening. Very tight but powerful which is a rare ability these days. You can adjust the crossover and the boost level on the unit itself which allows you to tune it perfectly to blend with your mains. Altogether a good value. It does do HT fairly well however and would be an excellent choice for someone who listens to music mostly and home theater less often. Similar Products Used: JBL Basswave |
