Strength:
Excellent sound-clarity and style of speakers
Weakness:
So Far None Found The reference system provides so much more detail on CDs that I have listened to for years. I would recommend the RF3s and the complete sytem to anyone looking for a great sound at a really good price. Similar Products Used: Pioneer |

Strength:
great sound, cheap, fits with the rest of my system
Weakness:
none so far bought these speakers on-line, over $100 less than what i would have paid in stores. For this value they can't be beat. All the rest of my components were bought at hifi stories (RF-3, RC-3, KSW-12) for under retail price, but still no where as low as www.acousticsounddesign.com. DVD's sound so much better now, even music in the 5ch Stereo mode. Similar Products Used: first pair of surrounds ever |

Strength:
Spatial and amazingly clear
Weakness:
Not the best build quality For those of you who have reservations about purchasing the "harsh" or bright Klipsch sound, you're in for a big suprise. These are one of the best sounding surrounds on the market today. Although they are bipolar by design, they reproduce every special effect with clear, authoritative response like a monopolar bookshelf speaker. The titanium tweeters have been smoothed out and are NOT overly bright by any means. There are actually times that I can hear so much of the rear effects during an action movie that I find myself turning them down so I can hear the dialogue. Give yourself a chance to hear an incredible value in the RS-3...you definitely won't be disappointed. By the way, I upgraded my main/center channel and these gems still blend beautifully with some high end equipment. I am feeding them B&K reference power and they just won't faulter. I cannot say enough about auditioning these surrounds!! Similar Products Used: other Klipsch speakers |

Strength:
detailed mids and highs, adequate lows, wide sound dispersion
Weakness:
expensive, big i didn't want to spend this much for surrounds but having bought klipsch rf-3's for fronts i didn't have much choice.these match perfectly and although i think they're overpriced the sound is wonderful.if you're thinking of buying klipsch reference speakers as fronts you may want to prepare yourself and your budget to accomodate the surrounds and center as well.other surrounds sounded ok,but the unique sound of the klipsch highs made using dsp modes dull.also these are pretty large and may be tricky to place in smaller listening areas.klipsch should offer some sort of package deal on the reference series or maybe a punch card..buy 4 and the 5th is free..in the meantime say goodbye to your wallet and hello to great sound. Strength:
Full range sound. Impressive look when hanging on the wall
Weakness:
Cannot use banana clips on wires I have owned the complete matched set of RF-3's, RC-3, and RS-3's for approx. 6 months now. I am driving them with a Denon 3300 and recently added the KSW-15 for the bottom end. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the speakers (the whole set, not just the surrounds). I was a 2 channel believer for music playback until I bought the Denon with its incredible 5 channel mode mated to these surrounds. Now I very very rarely listen to music in just two channels. They perform very well for movies also. I would highly recommend these speakers to anyone and everyone (and often do) they are an outstanding value for the money and you would be hard pressed to find a better surround speaker without going to a full range floor standing speaker (which I believe would make the effects easier to locate because the speakers would be ear level instead of six feet up). I give them an eay 5 stars in both catgories. Klipsch has again proven why they are hard to beat. Similar Products Used: Cambridge Soundworks |

Strength:
Very light for their size, full range speakers all the only way to go.
Weakness:
No 1/8" screw hole for easy mounting. I goofed, I put the wrong one here. Stupid me. Similar Products Used: Cambridge SoundWorks The Surround, Ensemble II |

Strength:
Crystal clear highs and mids, and excellent low mids.
Weakness:
Large, heavy and bass is not deep. If you already have the reference main speakers then I cannot think of a better match as a center channel. The speaker can reproduce vocals with little effort and it can do it at very low levels. So even if you need to be quiet you can still hear everything the people say.
