Strength:
many inputs
Weakness:
audio, unless u have a nice surround sound system i hear that people are having color and video problems........... check your equipment. this tv is honestly the best for the price. the video is excellent, and is much better if you have a progressive scan dvd player. i have a samsung progessive scan {free with the tv}, cheap but the picture looks great. i also have my xbox hooked up which is progressive scan for games and not dvds. the games have a 480p input and are sweet looking. i compared the movies with the xbox and the samsung and since the samsung is progressive it is 10 times better. also check the quality of the movies that u are watching, the is a new type of dvd now called superbit dvd and it puts normal dvds to shame. Look nice.
Weakness:
Looks like product quality is not good. It's video went out in less than 1 and a half month. It looks like a lemon to me. If you are going for this product, have extended warranty. Good Luck. |

Strength:
Many connectivity options. Great picture with DVD or HD images. Hitachi reliability.
Weakness:
A little red push, But that's easily remedied with a few adjustments. This is a fine entry level set for the first home theater setup. Good picture with digital cable, Very good picture with DVD or HD images. It's nice that it's on casters to be able to move it easily. The color needs a little adjusting to tone down the red, other than that I'm totally pleased with this RPTV. Similar Products Used: This my first RPTV |

Strength:
Good color
Weakness:
The review summary should speak for itself. In 45 years of owning TVs, this is, by far, the worst ever. I purchased it on the strong recommendation of a salesman (I was unable to get to the store because of a car problem) and also because of the glowing reviews on this site. Even in DVD mode, and despite making careful adjustments, the picture is somewhat blurry and the images resemble Lego blocks. Geometric distortion is unbelievably horrible at the screen edges; a large circle resembles a rounded diamond until it pans toward the center of the screen. Either I have a lemon or the other reviewers should seriously consider getting leader dogs |

Audio quailty needs work, not the best for a tv. No HD tuner. This Tv is great the colours are fantastic. It does lack the HD Turner but that cool. Compared this peoduct with others. Can Not beat it. Nice Set. Similar Products Used: 32" Sony Wega Nice great tv still have it. 40" Rca would no buy one. |

Strength:
Excellent color, decent auto convergence system, excellent manual convergence setup (over 100 point)
Weakness:
Almost too nice for my house... A gorgeous tv, Well worth every penny. Lacks the HD tuner that the top end Hitachi has, but for the money it's the best 51 inch on the market. (Oh yeah, also, I don't know about other areas, but in the Eau Claire, WI area Sears sales people really know their stuff... just my two cents.) Similar Products Used: RCA 32" Digital TV (sorry, don't know the model) Sony 65" Widescreen (KP-65WV600) the Sony was a damn fine TV, but at almost 4G's a little out of my reach... Had to return it. |
