the service from mitsubishi and the overall product

My husband and I bought this tv in 2006 and it has been one nightmare after another. We paid $7000.00 and this tv won't work and Mitsubishi doesn't have the know how on how to fix the problem. We have been unable to watch our tv since March of 2007 and Mitsubishi refuses to do anything about it and we purchased the warranty. We have hired an attorney to sue them at this point. Very bright and wonderful color. Not to heavy.

Remote forces you to select the input from a list, you can't scroll to the input. Rendering the Tivo remote usless for this.

TV is a 2006 model, bought a 55 Mit in Feb and was impressed. Wanted to upgrade to a slightly larger TV, this is a bit bigger than that. With a stand this set is almost 6 feet tall and 6 feet wide. HUGE, I believe this set will shine with the new HD formats. When it has a regular resolution image it is not the best quality, you see everything. Very bright and incredible color, you will need to reduce the color setting and turn the red's down a bunch.
