Strength:
TV comes in two pieces for easy instalation.
Weakness:
Poor image focussing. Very poor images with analog cable. Fair image with dvd with progressive scan even with component video. Has focus problems even with hdtv signal. This intergrated hdtv is pricee and does not perform well with any video source I've tried. TV sems to be struggling with focusing.Over the air hdtv using the intergrated tuner is fair.Has problems with video with motion. If the game is not in high def forget it. Similar Products Used: Comparable Sony hdtv performs much better with all sources than this WS-65611 |

Strength:
HDTV picture is one of the best in the market.
Weakness:
NO PIP for HDTV This Set is a lot bigger at home than in the store. I am using a Samsung t-160 for DirecTV HDTV. I am also running a terk-55 outdoor antenna into the built in receiver. The receiver built into the Mits is much better than the ones in Set Top boxes. The Picture in High Definition is absolutely stunning. I could have purchased any T.V. took about a year of researching. The Mits has all the bells and whistles IEEE (firewire) works great with my JVC high def vcr. Just plug and play (just like a computer) HDNET and PBS feeds are life like. I am talking fresh out the box with little calibration. (color, contrast, etc) I am also running cable through the "B" antenna input. PIP allows me to to see upto nine different channels. You can split the screen and watch the ball game while your wife watches her show. Cannot do PIP with HDTV sources though. I sit about 13 feet from the screen. Has more inputs and outputs than most if not any t.v. on the market. Please audition this t.v. you cannot go wrong with this...just read some of the magazine reviews making MITS product of the year. Remember this review is before Professional Calibration. Cable leaves a little to be desired but you really don't purchase this kind of t.v. to watch cable.
