Value, performance
Weakness:
size excepted, none Value! It was a steal. Have used on weekends for about two years now. Great performance. Just bought a progressive scan DVD, what a change. My wife who hates all the "black boxes" noticed a huge difference. Similar Products Used: None |

When ready for the HD converter you can buy it from Mitsubishi and install it inside the TV so you do not have that digital cable box on top of your TV. I purchased this 65" HD wide screen TV new. I am really happy with the overall product. The only concerns I have is that the picture contains more "RED" than I like so I have to adjust it farther than you would expect. Mitsubishi has been know to have this problem. Also the buttons on the remote loose the numbers fairly quickly. |

Strength:
It was a great set, now I don't know because after 3 months the picture is unwatchable. Maybe I got a lemon.
Weakness:
The thing broke after short use. I paid good money. I could should have purchase a cheap 36 inch Sony or JVC picture TV. Painless to adjust, won't stop working after 3 months of use. At first I was really happy with this TV, until the picture became saturated, cloudy and completely unwatchable. My set is still under warranty, so I called Mitsubishi and got the most inadequate help ever. The tv repair told me it will be 3 weeks before they can look at the set. Similar Products Used: SONY |

This TV met and exceeded my expectations. It looks huge in the showroom but when you take it home it looks even bigger! Amazing to watch DVDs on, even better with progressive scan. Cable TV is obviously not as good but still above expectations for a TV this large. With surround sound you definately feel like you are at the theater. Strength:
Easy to follow on screen menu Very large screen for the price Good picture with some adjustment
Weakness:
No digital (firewire) connection No HDTV tuner, only analog tuner Good solid value for the price. I spent four months researching and test viewing many brands and concluded this was within my budget and was the best overall package. More than enough component, s-video and composite hookups. Great Picture!
Weakness:
red push Basically, this tv is great! out of the box, however, will need some tweaking. the picture quality simply put can rival some of the most expensive RPTVs after a good calibration. The tv will look great after a few minor tweaks, such as reducing SVM, using an attenuator to correct red push, and doing manual, and electrostatic focusing. |
