Great Picture.
RP bulb last a long time.

No HD tuner built in.

I bought this TV online about 4-5 years ago. I just recently replaced the lamp so it has lasted that long. I only watch a couple hours a day during the week but on the weekends it gets used a lot more. HD programing has excellent picture. With analog the picture isn't very good. I assume at 60" the picture of analog signals won't be that good with any TV that size. The sound is adequate, but I have it hooked up to my 5.1 receiver and it is awesome. I have been extremely happy with this TV. The only problem with the TV is I wish it had a built in HD tuner.

WE BOUGHT THE PANASONIC PT-60LC14 IN 2005. THE TV WORKED FINE UNTIL FEB 2007. THE LAMP INDICATOR LIGHT WAS ON AND WE HAD TO REPLACE THE LAMP UNIT. WE CALLED THE REPLACEMENT PART NUMBER 1800-332-5368 AND PURCHASED THE TY-LA1000 LAMP. ONCE RECEIVED WE FOLLOWED THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. THE TV WORKED FOR A FEW HOURS AND THE LAMP LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN INDICATING THE LAMP UNIT NEEDED TO BE CHANGED. WE CHECKED THE CONNECTION AND TREID AGAIN. IT DID NOT WORK. WE CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER AT 1800-332-5368 AND THEY DIRECTED US TO THE NEREST AUTHORIZED REPAIR SHOP(HOMEMAKER TELEVISION 254-526-3054) LOCATED IN KILLEEN,TX. THEY TRIED TO REPLACE THE UNIT AND THE HOUSING THAT IT IS CONNECTED TO. NO SUCCESS. WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS AT THIS POINT? WE PAID MORE THAN $3000 FOR THIS TV AND IN LESS THAN THREE YEARS, IT IS NOT FUNCTIONING AND CAN NOT BE FIXED. PLEASE HELP! THE TV WAS PURCHASED AT THE LACK'S FURNITURE STORE IN TEMPLE, TEXAS.
