We got this t. v. for Christmas got a really good deal, We thought. Not even a full month and the blue picture tube is shorting out. It flashes the whole t. v. off. So we have unhooked the blue tube and got a really great picture. with out the blue in it. The thing is you really cant tell. It's not a color thats missed. |

repair man came out 2-3 time's a year for 3 year's, the whole time we had the warrenty, they never permenently fixed anything and the red lines, flashes and random shut off's still happen!!!, this T.V. isnt worth a cup of piss, never buy it, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OR ANY SONY!!!!!!!!!!!................SONY"S are all lemon's, trust mac, samsung. WHEN IT WORKED NICE PICTURE AND GREAT SOUND.
Weakness:
ONLY LASTED ONE AND A HALF YEARS B-4 MINOR PROBLEMS STARTED. I PURCHASED THIS SET 3 YEARS AGO.

Isn't worth the money, knowing what I do now, they couldn't give me a Sony TV free. It's not working more often than it is working. We have had to have service on this TV too many times. It originally had to have all three tubes replaced because Sony decided to save a few penney's and put cheap bulbs in, the repair man put Sony tubes in. But then less than a month later we had to have the green tube replaced (which was a sony tube, after he replaced them the first time)and less then a year later we have to have the blue tube replaced and the day after it was replaced it started having the "Flicker and Hue" problem again. I called Sony and talked to a service rep. for a half hour, she put me on hold for another half hour after that when I finally decided to hang up. They are not willing to help out on the situation at all. Similar Products Used: many! |
