Strength:

Too many to list. Picture is awesome with Digital Cable, and DVD. Nice remote, easy to configure, beautiful picture. Trust me you wont be disappointed.

Weakness:

None really worth mentioning, inputs to switch tv, dvd, not great but easy to get used to on remote. No weakness really..

For the price you cannot lose on this T.V. Buy this T.V. if you have less then 55 inch, its worth investment, you wont be going to movie theaters anymore when u buy this T.V.
Have Klipsch Cornwalls, complimented with Harrisey, for 5 speaker home surround. Sound is a definite must with this t.v. and you will be crapping when watching a good DVD. I will not need upgrade for a long time, buy this T.V.!!!

Strength:

Great Picture, Easy to use remote, and simple operation of on screen menus

Weakness:

none

I spent alot of time shopping and comparing features of many RPTV's. This set looks better then all I have seen. The DVD picture is excellent on this TV, and most cable stations look decent. I like the multiple preset picture settings, and you can save one custom setting of your own (which I ended up doing). The set has 6 color cannons, which cant be beat, it is more capable than I have equipment to use it for-so I can grow into it for a few years. The 4:3 ratio is preferred, as this is more then just a DVD monitor.

Strength:

New HD Component input
New remote with backlight & input selection
PRICE!!

Weakness:

No seperate input buttons (Still have to pust Input then 1, 2, 3, 4 etc)
Slow tuner STILL! (Wake up TOSHIBA!)

Received this in November and spent a week tweeking it with Avia.

The unit has a far better remote and input selecter than my older TN50X80 unit and seems to have a better overall HD picture (using a Toshiba 6100 DVD).

There is nothing on the market here in Canada that can touch this unit for the price. With a Bell ExpressVu dish the picture is quite good most of the time and I can hardly wait until there is some good HDTV on it!

Overall very, very happy!

Strength:

Superb picture and flexibility of interconnects-Customization of Picture attributes.

Just delivered and installed yesterday. Using with Dish 500 Model 5000 and Toshiba SD2109 DVD. Colorstream DVD input is breathtaking. Local cable channels are a little harsh but can be softened using the excellent controls of this unit. Dish signal using s-video input is near perfect. Unit is installed in a custom built wall unit and blends nicely. Out of the box set up was easy and a standard convergence was all it needed. Very happy so far. Shopped and compared this unit to the SONY, Hitachi etc. the HX Cinema Series is the 2001 Model- It was a special order- 2.5 weeks wait and worth it. ALso compared it to the TN & H series. Also compared in store with true HD Signal - Best I saw....
