Toshiba TP71H95 Rear Projection
DESCRIPTION
Toshiba 71-Inch High-Contrast Dark Tint Screen with Built-in High-Contrast Shield - Toshiba is dedicated to total picture performance. That's why the TP71H95 features 7-inch Hi-Bright Electrostatic CRTs instead of the competition's 5- inch tubes. The CRTs have Large Aperture Electron Guns and a negative radius design for consistent corner-to-corner sharpness. The Dark-Tint screen improves contrast as much as 18% for bolder, richer colors. And the built-in High-Contrast Shield protects the screen from accidental damage.
2-Tuner Picture-in-Picture (PIP) - Want to keep your eye on the playoffs and your favorite comedy at the same time? The TP71H95 has two built-in tuners so you can watch two channels simultaneously.
37-Key Back-Lit Intelligent Universal Remote Control - No more fumbling for the right remote control buttons in darkened home theaters... The TP71H95 has a back-lit remote that illuminates the entire keypad for effortless operation. In addition to the preprogrammed codes for a variety of VCRs and cable boxes, this intelligent remote can ""learn"" the commands of other remotes in your system.
For an image that looks almost as rich and three-dimensional as ""film"", Toshiba uses a combination of two different scanning systems. Intelligent circuitry dynamically switches moment-to-moment between line-doubled and frame-doubled scanning, depending on the nature of the image.
Dynamic Quadruple Focus - This advanced circuit continually readjusts the focus of the electron beam to maintain laser-like sharpness across the entire screen - even in the corners.
Multi-Point Digital Convergence - The TP71H95's Multi-Point Digital Convergence system properly aligns the three CRTs for an accurate, more precise picture from corner-to-corner so you'll experience crisp edges and more realistic colors.
Front Surround Sound - Immerse yourself in great sound. Advanced ""phase shift"" circuitry takes the two-speaker stereo signal and creates a wider sound-stage for added depth and richness for any program.
