I purchased this Maxent 42 EPM20 edtv from Future Shop in December 2006 and its working excellent till date as I have Hi Definition Box from Rogers and Sony 800W Home Theater System. Image quality and sound is thrilling and works well in 1080p mode because of Multi-Scanning PC Monitor Support up to 1280 x 1024. Speakers are just 5 watts x 2 but sound like more watts due to surround sound enhancer. Display is without any glare even it is in my living room with two big picture windows and one wide patio door. Only drawback was no tuner in it but you have to have HDTV source even if you have tuner so, makes no difference if you have Hi Def Box. Aesthetiically the unit is beatiful and design looks bigger than its actual 42 inch. Remote is standard but not all functions are operable but still you have what you actually need. I and my family still like it.
