Beautiful color and sound, especially on HD channels. All channels look good. Fits in space where 27" tube TV was.

This TV has the most stunning picture I've ever seen, even better than the competition from Sony! I bought this for 1,999.00 at a military BX (surprised they had it!). I bought an external HD tuner and digital cable, but took them back as I didn't need them. Signed up for HD service from the cable company. Their box serves as the HD tuner, and they furnished the composite cables. My wife and I sat in awe the first night, watching Discovery HD (probably the best HD channel anywhere). The colors and detail are vibrant! Underwater scenes look like you're looking into an aquarium! All we could say was, "Wow"! Regular analog and digital channels look good too. Playing movies (we have a Bose 3-2-1 sound system with built-in DVD/CD player) are great on this TV! I was a bit disappointed at first, because I had a little trouble adjusting the aspect ratio (my learning curve)... after this initial hump I wouldn't trade this TV for any other LCD or plasma set!
