Great value if you research for the best price. Great appearance, brightness, viewing angles, good picture with a good signal, Sound is incredible.

Black presentation not believable, cheesy remote.

I've had this TV for about a week now and I am pleased with its performance overall. The picture does lack really good black presentation but it is acceptable. The brightness is excellent, I have it wall mounted in my bedroom next to a window and I have no trouble seeing it in daylight. The TV performs very well with a good signal. I have Directv with the S-Video hookup and strong programming (football game on fox for example) looks quite good, almost great! Probably the most impressive thing about the TV is the sound. It only has 2" speakers and I don't feel that it is necessary to run an A/V setup to get good sound. I'd compare it to a very good bookshelf speaker as far as the sound goes. Another impressive thing is the looks. This TV is gorgeous, looks great hanging on the wall.
