Weakness:
Dead Pixel (built quality) POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT Fan noise I purchased this projector 4 weeks ago and mounted it to my ceiling with no problems. The picture quality was very good and an excellent menu/navigation setup. The fan noise was more noticeable than the Marantz VP-12S2. Last week, I noticed one of the pixel in the middle of the screen was black and appeared malfunction. I called customer support and at first they said they'll fax information to ship the unit back to fix the problem. I waited and waited but no fax. I called again and now customer support said they had to review the case because a certain number of dead pixel was acceptable. I am OUTRAGED. No where in the brochure or the sales people told me about 'acceptable' dead pixels. When you spend $6500+ on a projector, no dead pixels are acceptable within the warranty period. Buyers beware. If this is how they manage quality control, the future looks dim. Similar Products Used: Marantz VP12-S2 |
