Strength:
easy set up, plug & play, vivid colrs, superb blacks, multiple mounting modes, simple remote, user friendly software, esthetically pleasing.
Weakness:
memory stick on selection on main remote button is worthless, memory stick in general is worhtless. NOTHING ELSE Picked up this unit today and set up out of the box w/ Phillips 963SA DVD/SACD palyer , zero calibration just plug adn play adn this unit shot a 120" image on my un finished drywall that was quite spectacular. I cant wait till my dedicated HT room is complete adn I can set up on a screen. I plan to use fixed screen by carada.com same specs as Stewart/Draper adn half the price. I am a 2 ch audiophile just gettin ginto HT, this projector is easy to use, works out of the box, doesn't require a CEDIA certifed tech to start up and projects deep blacks , great colors, superb resolution at a third the price of SIM2, Runco etc. AUDIOphiles adn HT enthusiasts don tbe fooled by the hyper of other manuf this is a real vidoe bargain. This proj is quiet, small , elegantly designed , light wt, easy to set up , flexible mounting and more. (If it looks thi sgood on bare drywall , cant imagine what it will look like on a proper screen. Lets face most HT enthusiasts end up watching Findingn NEMO, Monsters Inc or some other Pixar flick with our kids so why spend mega bucks for line quadrouplers etc... you can impress your neighbors with all the $ you save and put it back into yuour 2 ch setup where it REALLY counts!
