Strength:
Price even with the extended warranty.
Weakness:
The remote does'nt work many devices. My remotes cannot be programed to run this set. The TV has served me well since I bought it. When I bought it my old Hitachi had just died, so I was not realy in the market for a new set the the time. This one was the cheapest they had and with the extended warranty it was still cheaper than the JVC. So figured why not I got the 5 year warranty and if I get the 5 years out of it I will be ready for somthing special It will be a lot easier to justifie a purchase of a new set (HDTV) or a upgrade when we need to replace something that dosen't work. The picture is fine I like the fact that it has three external inputs for other devices including S-video and component video. Although I don't think the component realy makes a difference on this set. I think the old saying goes you get what you pay for so I hope I do. |

Just a few days after the standard one-year factory parts warranty, our TV blew up and died. Pfffttt! Just like that... Now we're trying to get Best Buy and the manufacturer to replace it. |

Strength:
Easy to understand retractable panel in face. Color is solid and adjusts cleanly.
Weakness:
Hook up can be confusing and placement of Video 2 connectors placed poorly. Manual somewhat vague and remote is sluggish and limited without a programming code guide for other itemd Delivered without incident. Worked well from the moment it was plugged in. Similar Products Used: Sony, JVC, Hitachi |
