DESCRIPTION

The AV-36120 is a 36-inch direct-view TV that ranks in the middle of JVC's 36-inch line. While it does not have component video inputs, it does have an S-video input for connecting to high-quality video sources such as DVD and DBS (direct broadcast satellite). The two A/V inputs are located on the rear panel. The AV-36120 is also equipped with a switchable variable/fixed audio output; use the fixed one if you want to regulate volume through a remote-controlled A/V receiver, or the variable one if you prefer to adjust the volume level through the TV.

The AV-36120 receives MTS (multichannel television sound) for stereo broadcasts and SAP (second audio program) for select foreign language broadcasts. This model also offers "Hyper Surround" for simulating surround sound through its front-firing speakers.Conveniences include a universal remote, which has preprogrammed codes to control components from other brands, and a theater mode that sets picture parameters to make movies look their best.
