Strength:

Front inputs, Good blacks, relatively flat screen.

Weakness:

Colors look washed out, text is not sharp.

I've had this TV for 3 weeks and am going to return it and upgrade to a better model. I found this TV to be the best for the money in its' class. When you compare it to RCA, GE it blows those away. I can't tell a difference between Sony, JVC and this Panasonic. I'd have to rate Panasonic equal or better to TVs in this price range, especially when you compare the features Panasonic offers. However when you compare this class of TVs to the better ones that cost $200 more, the better TVs (Panasonic CT27SF36) simply blow it away! The colors are so much more vibrant than the G24.
The way I look at it is you're going to have a TV for many years, spend the extra $200 for a TV that really looks good.

Strength:

Nice picture. Almost flat picture tube.

Weakness:

Very poor manual. Can't use S-Video and composite jacks together.

Nice TV. Nice picture with satelite system, and broadcast TV. Sound avarage(85Hz-20kHz, 5 watts per channel, 10% dist). The picture tube is really close to being flat, I really liked that. Very bad manual, but then, the TV is real easy to set-up. Cant plug in your VCR using the RCA composite inputs if your using the S-video input, which means if your using the S-video inputs for your satelite system, you have to use the RF cable for your VCR or cable box. If you do use both of the jacks, the s-video well be in color, but the VCR/Cable box picture well be in black and white. Dont matter if the satelite system is off or not. I'm using my JVC 884 reciever for switching, and it still does not work. Maybe a better switching box would work, but dont count on it. Well worth the money to me, as a flat screen TV is about an extra 100-1500 dollors. You well like the TV other then that. Remote runs just about anything under the sun. Later.

Provides a good picture but a little on the grainy side probably due to the black picture tube and the digital comb filter. Front AV jacks are handy. Considered an equivelant Sony model. The Sony had a smoother picture but the Panasonic had a few more features for the same money.

Strength:

Front A/V Jacks, Relativley Flat Screen, Moderate ammount of options, PIP

Weakness:

Limited PIP positioning, only 4 places to move the PIP box, PIP freeze frame picture quality

I bought this TV to replace a old sony TV and to make a small home theatre setup in my room, im only 16 so this TV was the perfect price and size for my room, I was trying to connect the TV to my reviever, because i noticed there were 2 AV jacks on the back and i though to myself (ok, one for input and one for output, right?) No. I hooked it up to my reciever and nothing...I hooked up my DVD player to the reciever and it played perfectly, I dont know if the 1 AV jack is for input and one for output or what, but i dont need that as badly as i need the DVD player hooked up to the reciever, I am very happy with this TV otherwise it has been a great investment and the Panasonic tech support is also very user friendly and easy to navigate. This is a good TV for a person who wants something nice in their bedroom, not for the main home theatre room.
