minor dim spot (see review) I picked up this set in September at Vanns in Bozeman, Montana. It was the floor model, so I got $100 off the price, and picked it up for $500. This is an excellent set. The cable channels that get good reception here (ESPN 1 and 2, The Weather Channel) look very sharp. Similar Products Used: Sony 27" (not sure what model) |

I purchased this unit in 1997 & am very pleased with it. The 750 lines made the sharpest image available at the time. However, isn't quite upto HDTV standards, but still blows away 90% of other products currently available. The the colors are well represented w/o significant distortion unlike most Trinitrons, but black is more like a very dark charcoal. I'm looking to upgrdae since my TV is MUCH smaller than my sound. |
