Strength:
same price as 27 inch flatscreen. Exellent picture quality. No probelms as yet. and it has the best stereo sound from any tv i have heard.
Weakness:
only one set of component video inputs. Ive had this Tv for almost two years and it has easly been the best buy of any of my Home theater. Sattelite throgh S-video looks exellent, DVD through componet is very clear and PS2 thriugh composite looks suprizingly good. Similar Products Used: 27 inch JVC, 32 RCA, Sony wega. |

Strength:
Great Picture, Component Inputs.
Weakness:
Sounds not the greatest. Some hate the rollerball menu. Originally was going to buy a 27" I_ART flatscreen JVC, but was not in stock. I am a previous owner of the original 27" GAOO, which rocked. I bought 32D11(Cdn code same TV) not expecting much, knew the superflat line got good reviews, then I brought it home and set it up. Wasn''t impressed with the color fidelity at first, then threw in Star Wars Episode 1 and went through the THX optimizer screens, and wow what a difference. DVD looks superb through the component inputs, as does digital cable. If your stuck now, as I was, whether to do flat screen, or HD Ready, do yourself a favour, and get a bigger screen for 1/2 the price, and let Hollywood and the major manufacturers figure out how they want to let you enjoy HD TV. Strength:
more bang for the buck
Weakness:
makes you wanna decide to get a smaller flat screen TV or a bigger conventional TV MY wife and I were thinking whether we should wait for HDTV prices to go down or just get a 27 inch Sony WEGA .In the end we decided to get the panasonic coz' you can't argue about the price .It's got component video input which makes picture quality twice better . Plus I could hook it up to my A/V receiver. So what more could I argue for. I guess we'll just have to wait till' HDTV prices go down like regular TV's !!!!!! |
