For the price ($980), it has great resolution and Color when whating DVDs

The onscreen controls are not very flixible, I had old Samsumg tv which had far beeter on screen controls for Color, sharpness, channel deletion ... etc.

I general I'm happy with this TV. It has a great picture when watching DVDs or Digital Cable. The Color does not look right when whathing standard TV or VHS tapes. It has only two Video inputs, Video 1 and Video 2. Video 1 is also the S-Video input, which is limiting, I was expect to have three video inputs.

I went from my eight year old Zenith 19" television set which had aweful sound. This TV has great sound, I have a HT sorround sound system, and when I listen to my TV speakers ,I don't have a problem with that, cause they sound great. I like the picture in picture (PIP), make sure you get the two tuners, the model below this one does not have the two tuners and you have to rewire some cables...it's a pain in the ass. I like the quality of the picture, although when I brought it home there was a green glob over the top right corner and you could see the pixels on the screen, I called circuit city , and they came out and replaced the TV the next day ( I think I got a lemon.)

I love this tv, it will be a while until I buy another.
oh! it is priced at panasonic.com for MSRP $1199.00 I got it for $925.00

The remote is great if you're just going to watch tv, but it doesn't accomodate other devices well like a DVD player etc,etc.
In the back it has analog audio/video hookups, and S/video connector ( go with this one to your dvd or receiver)
