When I first bought this TV, I was very happy about the cost and size, as soon as I got home and plugged in the TV there was a huge Green spot on the screen over on the left side in the middle section...I returned it to BestBuy and after a lot of arguing that I HAD DONE NOTHING to the TV, they replaced it. I then got back home with my replacement TV, plugged it in and I SWEAR TO GOD, the replacement TV had the EXACT same thing wrong with it!! I was really mad - called Philips, they wanted me to go and exchange it again or ship it to them. I chose not to because I didn't have the money to.. So, I've lived with this intermittent GREEN spot on my TV since I bought it... NOW just last week - when I turn on my TV - the top of my screen has decreased about 2 and a half inches from the top!! Of course the 6 mos. warranty is long gone, but I SHOULD NOT HAVE EVER had any problems with this TV. I've been trying to find others out there that have had similar problems with this specific model# 27PT5445/37 and thus far not having much luck....
