Strength:
awesome picture, great depth and detail. Passed black and white levels
Weakness:
no zoom mode. I will keep my review short and simple. First, this is an awesome TV. After calibrating it you get great picture and depth. Hooking it up with my video scaler turns this TV into a powerhouse unit. Thank you Philips of Belgium. Only one complaint no zoom mode on AV4 which is the hi-scan progressive input. I hate watching 4:3 programs with gray or black bars in the sides. Strength:
Unbelieveable picture quality, Natural motion, simple to get it up and running, aesthestically pleasing and strong internal speaker system,
Weakness:
Remote has tragic backlighting, slightly delayed response to button w/ button use, and menues drop from screen to quickly. Out of the box this tv was up and going in no time. The rediculous owners bible is silly even laughable. But it's a TV and we all know the basics. The only real important thing here is the picture quality which is outstanding to say the least crisp, clear and absolutely precise. I've only been watching via digital cable and dvd. Wide screen format seems to deliver the best over all screen use centering the picture horizontaly. 16:9 puts the picture out of center to the top of the screen. Similar Products Used: My system |
