This model is digital ready with the addition of a Digital TV ready SmartCard. It has a local preview channel guide every time the TV is turned on. SmartSound is also offered and detects variations in audio and minimizes the audio usually associated with commercials. Other features include digital comb filtering, which provides a maximum picture quality for high resolution sources, audio/video muting, which detects a loss of signal and optionally mutes both audio and video, volume limiter, Composite and S-Video inputs, video in/out with loop-through, stereo audio inputs, clone and event programming, volume management and universal remote.
