Strength:
Nice bed side TV I must say I’m very happy with this TV. As far as picture goes I guess it is as good as the others. Although I was going to get the 13 inch Song Wega, but the fact that the philips has stereo and the decent design won me over. It is a great bed side TV, the only wish I have is that they added a radio tuner, that would have made it a complete stand alone unit. Similar Products Used: Sony 13inch |

Weakness:
Stereo speakers could have been better Fun Television with built in ALARM, Great for Kitchen or Childs Bedroom. Has built in NiteLite (3 Levels Intensity). |

Solid picture,retro design,an excellent secondary fashionable addition,decent audio.Price
Weakness:
colour definition,rear inputs,only "13 inch,controller. The first thing that draws you is the styling,very funky and retro with a built in alarm and analogue timepiece.Picture quality is average and so is the audio,passiable rear input and outputs .Its the iMac of the television market.Time will time on the reliablilty.Good Tv and at reasonable price. Killer design,usable buttons,good imaging,average audio,lots of gadgets,and a cool useful analogue clock.
Weakness:
Cost too much for a 13"tv,Philips do not make a larger version of the Somba,and sometimes have channel locking problems. this is an excellent bedroom tv,has alarm clock,good size for a dresser top,good picture,audio is passable,and a very Lecorbusier design,simple and practical.Love the looks baby...........
