My wife and I bought this unit several year ago as a second tv. We have been wonderfully happy with the resulting quality of the set and would encourage anyone looking for a good standard model television to consider this a good buy. Over 5 years of service and never had a problem with it... we did however loose the guide-plus connector years ago, but we've never really minded. This set has traveled from Florida to Colorado and then to Indiana in rental moving trucks and is none the worse for wear. Great TV!

Excellent picture, when it works.

Poor service support.

Ten days before the end of 90 day warranty the picture started cutting out. Local "Authorized Service Center" fixed at no cost. The same problem has returned twice since. Tv is still under a year old. $120 out of pocket for me. RCA & "Authorized Service" don't have a clue on problem so I wonder if hiding something.
