no a/v inputs

Unit was a gift from a friend - unfortunately there are no a/v inputs which makes the unit practically worthless when trying to hook up a DVD and VCR and cable box and so on. I did manage to do it with a receiver but the picture is crap.
Why RCA would ever build such a great TV without inputs borders on the insane and shows why Japanese products are more consumer friendly.
