Strength:

Nice picture and hue(at times).

Weakness:

Choppy text, bowing effect at top of screen, etc.

I not sure if I got a lemon, but this television has more than a handfull of imperfections. When this set first arrived I had nothing but praise for it, I now vehemently retract those statements. Initially I notice a bowing effect at the top of the screen when flipping through satellite menus. Since the picture was so much more vibrant than my previous tv, I turned a blind eye to it. After hook up my dvd player and x-box to the set, I reached the end of my rope. The set would cut of the sides of the picture and the geometric bowing effect was noticable ten fold. And due to scan-velocity modulation(most HDTV set come with this feature),text is almost impossible to read at times. To make matters worse, there is no way to turn off the SVM. No picture adjustments seem to fix the problem. Also, often skin hues will appear very orange and too bright. I would love to hear what other have to say, especially if it's anything to the contrary. Its possible I just got a defective set. But they say you get what you pay for and this the cheapest hdtv set on the market(to the best of my knowledge). I would think twice before buying this tv.
