Strength:

good colour, 2 video inputs (one in front), verically flat screen reduces reflections, nice looking unit

Weakness:

image clipped on edges, size cannot be adjusted

I use this mono audio 20" TV mostly for watching dish TV, and VHS tapes. I don't use the TV tuner, signal from dish goes to the composite video input. Also I did not need an S-video input as I have a bigger TV in another room that is fed the dish S-video signal. I use a separate stereo receiver for sound, I never use the TV speakers, that is why I did not buy the more expensive stereo version of this TV.

The video quality is very good, better than most other 20" TVs, which makes stuff like nature programs and music videos more fun. I seldom need to adjust the colour settings to compensate for green skin or other effects, as is sometimes necessary with other TVs. There is no comb filter, which might make the picture even better.

You can program the TV to only allow viewing from one or both of the video inputs or from certain channels.

My only complaint is the edges of the image are clipped off a bit, which is a nuisance when viewing some dish menues or channels like CNBC that display stock prices right at the edge of the screen. Using special TV technician access codes (email me for these), you can control the vertical image size and position, but horizontal size is not changeable.

This TV is more expensive than other 20" sets but has a vertically flat tube and good colour and image quality. Samsung has a stereo 20" TV with comb filter that would also be worth checking out, similar price.
