Weakness:
~ None, except that it weoghs over 111 lbs! The '310 has better black level and detail than the '210, better sound (it's got a small subwoofer built-in and a stronger audio amp), and more adjustments in the menus. The '310 has what Sony calls a "High Voltage Regulator", (probably a beefier and better regulated power supply than what's in the '210) which is supposed to improve brightness & focus, and I think they've succeeded. Very sharp, clear picture with good geometry and color rendition. Best picture in a 27" analog set that I've yet seen. Similar Products Used: Panasonic Tau, Toshiba FST Pure, other Trinitron's. |

Picture Picture Picture Watch a DVD and the detail will blow you away!
Weakness:
Had a service issue right out of the box but I think it was just a fluke. Purchased at Sears as "open box". Salesman said it was a customer return. I saw the price and scooped it right up! Already own a 32" Wega so I knew I was in for a good deal. This Wega is a big upgrade over my 4 year old set. Super picture and sound. Easy to use. DVD's are a knockout! Almost "3D" type picture. Top of the line standard TV. Next step HDTV or Widescreen. Had a minor service issue but it was handled professionally inside of a week. Sony no Baloney! Similar Products Used: 32" Sony Wega 4 years new and going strong. Sony DVD and VHS players. Pioneer DVD player. |

Strength:
Appearance. Sound. DVD Clarity. 2 Tuner PIP.
Weakness:
Haven't used it long enough to compile any weeknesses, will post more later. Nice TV, Good appearance, like the 2 tone colour. Sound is really good. Picture is a bit pixelated while watching some channels on Cable TV. PIP works great, like the ability to change sound from main pic to PIP. DVD's look great, I would recommend getting component cables for DVD-TV Hookup, makes a big difference. |
